About Wired to Learn Fast
Wired to Learn Fast was created to share a proven model of systems change that is transforming literacy outcomes through leadership, learning science, and community partnership.
Why We Gather
Education is changing rapidly, and today's leaders face increasingly complex challenges. Improving outcomes for children requires more than new programs or isolated initiatives. It requires a deeper understanding of how children learn, how effective systems are built, and how leadership creates lasting impact.
Wired to Learn Fast was created to bring together education leaders, researchers, practitioners, and community partners who are committed to turning learning science into meaningful action. Through inspiring keynotes, collaborative discussions, and practical learning experiences, the summit equips leaders to create lasting change in their schools, districts, and communities.
A Community That Chose to Aim Higher
From Local Vision to National Movement
Indian River County made an ambitious commitment: to create a culture in which 90% of children read on grade level by the end of third grade.
That vision, known as the Moonshot Goal, united educators, nonprofit leaders, local government, businesses, and community members around a shared purpose. Rather than working independently, organizations aligned their efforts, resources, and leadership to create lasting systems change.
Wired to Learn Fast was created to share the lessons learned through that journey and invite education leaders from across the country to explore what's possible when research, leadership, and community work together.
